All non-ferrous metals that we receive are analysed and sorted by our trained employees. We have a stationary analyser, several handheld measuring devices and a furnace to ensure precise analysis. <\/p>\n

We also have two bale presses, a large shear and an alligator shear for further processing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Symbol Al, classified as an alloy and the most frequently occurring element in the earth’s crust.<\/p>\n

Pure aluminium is a light, silvery metal. It melts at 660\u00b0C, boils at 2,467\u00b0C and has a relative density of 2.7. Objects made from aluminium are corrosion-resistant. <\/p>\n

Symbol Pb, bluish-grey metallic element.<\/p>\n

Metallic lead is soft, highly elastic and a poor conductor of electrical current. A freshly cut lead surface displays a bright, silvery shine that quickly changes into the characteristic bluish-grey colour. A heavy metal, it melts at 328\u00b0C and boils at 1,740\u00b0C. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With the symbol Cr, chrome is a steel stabiliser.<\/p>\n

It is a silvery-white, very shiny metal which is tough, flexible and forgeable. Its melting point lies at 1,857\u00b0C. Chrome is resistant to corrosion. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

V2A, 18Cr\/8Ni-grade Cr-Ni steel scrap, rust- and heat-resistant, occurring principally in the cutlery, food and household appliance industries.<\/p>\n

Old motors of all kinds that are no longer usable. These generally consist of copper coils and an iron core.<\/p>\n

In nature, copper occurs not only in the form of compounds (e.g. in sulphide ores), but also in its pure state. The pure metal melts at around 1,083\u00b0C and boils at approximately 2,567\u00b0C. The relative density of copper lies at around 8.9. Copper is an excellent conductor of electricity and is suitable as a heat exchanger. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

An alloy of copper (Cu), tin (Sn), zinc (Zn) and lead (Pb). Principally used in the plumbing trade and in mechanical engineering. <\/p>\n

Symbol Zn, bluish-white, very shiny metallic element. Zinc plays an important role in technology in many respects. Examples of these include brass, a zinc-copper alloy, and a range of zinc pigments that are used to protect against corrosion. <\/p>\n

Pure zinc melts at around 420\u00b0C and boils at approximately 907\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
